A Globetrotters anecdote

Travellers:  Edwin(me), Althaf, Rajesh, Sathis, Venkat. Target  Destination: Biligundlu. Mode of transport : Two Wheelers - Althaf's Pulsar, Rajesh's Shine, Venkat's Glamour. Time Duration : one day. Proceeding Route: K rishnagiri -Kaveripatinam - Palakode - Pennagaram - Hogenakkal -  Biligundlu. (105 km) Receding:  Hogenakkal - Pennagaram -Dharmapuri - Krishnagiri.(115 km) It was 5 day holidays for Diwali 2014 at the end of the holidays on Sunday we made a trip to Biligundlu. Actually the destination initially we fixed was one and we explored another fine destination. The first fixed destination was Rasimanal but we ventured to Biligundlu.  Rasimanal is the place on the banks of river Cauvery. I came to know about this place,  couple of years back on daily newspaper regarding the erection of hydroelectric power stations between Krishnaraja Sagar(KRS) dam and Mettur dam. Travellers : Edwin(me), Althaf, Nishanth, Babu, Rajesh, Sathish, Arun. target  destination: Dabbaguli Mode of transport : Nishanth's tata sumo. time duration : One day. route:  Krishnagiri- Shoolagiri- Uddanapalli -Kelamangalam- Denkanikottai- Anchetty- H unasanahalli(Karnataka)- B helpatti- Manchukondapalli- Dabbaguli (target). distance: 140*2kms(to & fro) approx- 300+kms. On late night one year ago while surfing on the internet, I found a place called " Dabbaguli ". When I was  indeed in finding this place, I found a lot of info about  this place. On collecting this info  Dabbaguli  became a dream destination for me to explore. One year went due to some circumstances I couldn't make my way to Dabbaguli. But the dream came true on Independence Day because it is a 3 day holiday (Fri, sat, sun). All fine, the dates are finalized with my friends, the study about the place and preparation had been done in full-fledged. We made an enquiry

Activities : Camping, Hiking, Sightseeing. Route : krishnagiri-Salem-Rasipuram-Karavalli(foothills of Kolli)-Semmedu(Kolli hills). It had been a long time for making a trip to a hill station in the summer season. we were planning for a perfect destination and a perfect time to make a trip. As it was good Friday, Easter holidays we planned a trip and got a positive nod from our friends. that our friend Srini agreed to take his omini for the trip and we finalized the destination as Kolli hills.  lot of homework was done for this trip. we are sure that we couldn't do things which we could do usually in all our trips. Mode of transport: Inova... time duration: one day...... route: Krishnagiri-Bangalore-Kanakpura-Sangama-Mekedatu-Chunchi Falls. distance: from Bangalore its 90 km. It was 2nd weekend of November 2013 our friend Althaf returned home from the USA so we decided to take a break in the fast-moving schedule and we are searching for a correct destination. By that time Nishanth told about Sangama-Mekedatu-Chunchi Falls. hence we zeroed the plan and informed to all our friends. The positive node from our friends kick-started the trip.   our actual plan is to stay at our friend's home in Saturday night and to departure early in the next day morning me, Althaf and Sathish make our way to Bangalore in the bus, remaining friends are waiting in Bangalore. they picked us in Nishanth's Inova near silk board. and we went to our friend's r

It was the  first  weekend of  December month(2013). I was searching for the right destination which is around Krishnagiri . While surfing the internet I found a heaven which is 80 km away from my hometown . Hence the destination was fixed on gathering further information. I couldn't find enough stuff for my weekend plan. I set my mind to explore the place and decided to escape from my town before 7.00 am in the morning. When I initiated and explained about our weekend plan my friends didn't believe in me. I know the secret to convince my friends and I succeeded in that. My three friends agreed to accompany the trip was A lthaf , K arthick , N ishanth.    unfortunately , N ishanth  got dropped from the plan due to his prior commitment.   I thought the plan was dropped. K arthick  forced us to execute the plan. we decided to go ahead we called K arthick's  bro V inoth  for our trip he gave positive node.  There was a delay in our trip due to some heated argument
